MelaWood® is PG Bison’s leading brand of melamine faced board. As an extra benefit, we now include an anti-bacterial additive in our melamine resin. This is exclusive to our MelaWood® range. The melamine face of MelaWood® already provides an exceptional barrier to bacteria with its closed surface. The anti-bacterial additive is just an extra precautionary step assisting in preventing the spread of certain bacteria on the surface.

Melamine (MFB) is a decorative surface consisting of resin-impregnated printed paper which is then skilfully applied to either particleboard (PB) or Medium-density fibreboard (MDF). The Novolam® Collection of melamine faced boards is suitable for indoor use, easy to clean with stain and scratch-resistant properties, and does not require any special maintenance. The Novolam Collection is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
